WP26 Series:
This is the largest size of the standard air-cooled TIG torches (others are 9 and 17). It is robust and has a bulkier handle and head.

"V" (Valved): Indicates the torch has a built-in gas valve on the torch head. This is used with TIG welders that do not have an internal gas solenoid (gas is controlled by the machine switch) or for scratch-start TIG setups. You open the valve manually to start the gas flow.

Gas Cooled (Air Cooled)Cooling is achieved by the surrounding air and the flow of the shielding gas (typically Argon). The 26 series is designed to handle higher current than the smaller 17 or 9 series torches before overheating.

Amperage RatingGenerally rated for high amperage for an air-cooled torch: 180 to 200 Amps DC (Direct Current) and 150 Amps AC (Alternating Current) at a typical 35% duty cycle.

Consumables
Uses the larger, 3-series consumables (collets, collet bodies, nozzles, back caps), which are also compatible with the 17-series torches.

Ideal for sustained TIG welding on stainless-steel, mild steel and aluminium in workshop or field settings.

• Rated current: ~ 200 A DC  ~ 150 A AC at 60 % duty cycle. 

• Electrode (tungsten) diameter: ~ 0.5 mm – 4.0 mm (≈0.020″–5/32″) in compatible models. 

• Cooling method: Air-cooled (no water circuit required) for standard version. 

• Cable / hose length options: 4 mtr.

• Connection/termination: large diameter power connector plus argon hose feed and torch handle gas valve.
